Acetylcysteine 200mg Mylan powder is a medicine that thins bronchial secretions, in order to facilitate the evacuation of phlegm by coughing.

This drug is used in states of congestion of the bronchi, in particular during acute episodes of bronchitis in adults and children over 2 years old.

Using advice

The dosage in adults and children over 7 years old is 600 mg per day, in three doses, i.e. 1 sachet-dose 3 times a day.
In children from 2 to 7 years old, the dosage is 1 sachet-dose 2 times a day, i.e. 400 mg per day.
The sachet should be dissolved in half a glass of water.

Treatment with Acetylcysteine 200 mg should not exceed a period of 8 to 10 days, beyond which medical advice is necessary.

Do not exceed the usual dosage of Acetylcysteine and do not double the doses in case of forgetfulness.
