The generally recommended dosage for Desomedine eye drops is 2 drops 4 to 6 times a day for 10 days. Beyond that, if the symptoms persist, it is advisable to consult a doctor or ask your pharmacist for advice. The same applies if symptoms worsen or if redness appears, the eye is painful or your vision is blurred.
Desomedine eye drops should not be used in case of known allergy(s) to any of its components.
This medicine against bacterial conjunctivitis should be used with caution in pregnant or breastfeeding women (ask your doctor for advice beforehand).
The instillation of Desomedine eye drops may temporarily disturb your vision, which is why it is recommended not to drive vehicles or machines immediately after administration.
To avoid contaminating Desomedine eye drops, do not touch the eye with the end of the bottle and close it carefully after use. It should not be stored for more than 30 days after opening. In case of treatment with several eye drops, it is recommended to leave 15 minutes between each medication.
In case of overdose, your eye should be rinsed with physiological serum or sterile water.
