Blephaclean is recommended for the daily hygiene of the eyelids, in particular:

in case of sensitive skin, eyelids or eyes;
to remove dust, pollen and secretions from the eyelids; it can be part of the care in case of allergies or infections;
in case of inflammation or infection of the eyelids such as blepharitis, dysfunction of the Meibomian glands, stye or chalazion. These conditions can cause dry eye symptoms such as stinging, gritty sensations in the eyes, irritation and/or redness;
to clean the eyelids before ophthalmic procedures such as therapeutic injections made directly into the eye (intravitreal injections), laser eye operations and cataract surgery. Being well tolerated, Blephaclean can also be used after surgery, on the advice of a doctor or an ophthalmologist.

Blephaclean keeps the eyelids clean while respecting the skin around the eyes and the bacteria naturally present.

Using advice

Prior to eye surgery, use twice daily for 5 days or as directed by a physician or pharmacist.

Otherwise, use twice daily morning and evening for three weeks, then once daily for three months or as directed by a physician or pharmacist. For chronic situations, it may be necessary to continue long-term use.

Without rinsing after use.

Blephaclean can be used in children from 3 months.

The product has been tested under ophthalmological control.

For contact lens wearers: remove lenses before using Blephaclean.

Instructions :

Hygiene of eyelids and eyelashes:

Open the sachet and unfold the compress located inside.

With the eye closed, gently apply the compress to the eyelids and the base of the eyelashes.

Gently massage the eyelids with small circular movements to gently remove crusts, secretions and make-up.

Hygiene of the palpebral free edge:

Facing a mirror, gently open the eyelid by lightly pulling the eyelashes. Gently rub the free edge of the eyelid using a compress rolled up on itself.

Repeat the operation for the other eye, using a new compress.

Composition

Capryloyl glycine, sodium hyaluronate, PEG 8, poloxamer 184, polysorbate 20, propylene glycol, hydrocotyl extract (propylene glycol, Centella asiatica extract, water), preservative-free sebum regulator complex (propylene glycol, Iris florentina, zinc sulfate, PPG 5 ceteth 20, retinyl palmitate [vitamin A], aqua, alcohol), PEG glycerides-6-caprylic/capric (macrogol 6 glycerol caprylocaprate), dipotassium phosphate, sodium hydroxide, potassium dihydrogen phosphate and purified water.

Precautions for use

For cutaneous application only. Do not apply directly in the eyes.

Do not use if allergic to any ingredient.

Blephaclean is a sterile single-use product.

Do not reuse, as the compress will be less effective and this may lead to a risk of infection.

Do not use the compress if the sachet is opened or damaged.

The color of the compress may vary due to the presence of herbal extracts in the formulation, this is a normal phenomenon.

Stop using Blephaclean and contact a doctor or pharmacist if symptoms worsen.

Do not use after the expiry date clearly indicated on the box and on the sachet. The expiry date refers to the product in its intact packaging, stored correctly.

Used compresses must be disposed of in household waste.
