Composition

oral suspension (whitish, viscous): Sodium alginate 1 g/10 ml, Potassium bicarbonate 200 mg/10 ml.

Excipients: Calcium carbonate, Carbomer 974 P, Methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 218), Propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 216), Sodium saccharin, Mint flavor, Sodium hydroxide (for pH adjustment), Purified water.

Excipients with known effect: methyl parahydroxybenzoate and propyl parahydroxybenzoate. 1 ml contains 100 mg sodium alginate and 20 mg potassium bicarbonate Each 10 ml dose contains 106 mg sodium (4.6 mmol) and 78 mg (2 mmol) potassium. Each 10 ml dose contains 200 mg (2.0 mmol) of calcium carbonate.
