In the event that preventive treatment for heartworm disease is used and treatment against cestodes is also required, this veterinary medicinal product can replace the monovalent product intended for the prevention of heartworm disease. For the treatment of Angiostrongylus vasorum infestations, milbemycin oxime is given 4 times at weekly intervals. In case of necessary concomitant treatment against cestodes, it is recommended to administer the product once and to continue with a monovalent product based on milbemycin oxime alone for the remaining three weeks of treatment. For the treatment of Thelazia callipaeda , milbemycin oxime should be given in 2 doses, seven days apart.
