Place the infant in a lying position with the head tilted to the side. Gently insert the tip into the nostril. Press gently to obtain the required dose. Repeat this process if necessary in the other nostril. Raise the child's head and gently wipe off the excess liquid, waiting a few moments for the solution to work. For infants, complete as appropriate by suctioning mucus with a baby nasal aspirator. For ophthalmic washing, 1 to 2 times a day for daily hygiene, 1 to 2 times a day for a maximum of 5 days in the case of the conjunctivae, 1 occasional washing in the case of the elimination of dust. Clean with a sterile soaked compress. In case of conjunctivitis or discomfort, instill directly into the eye then wipe with a sterile compress. Change compress for the other eye.
