- Reserved for the treatment of localized superficial wounds, the size of which does not exceed the format of a compress. On burns, the compress must extend far beyond the burn to allow the absorption of exudates (the size of the compress, the white part of the dressing, must be at least twice the size of the burn).
- In the event of foreign bodies in the wound, heavy bleeding, bite, puncture with a sharp and/or dirty object or if you do not notice any improvement in healing after 6 days, consult your pharmacist or doctor.
- For any burns in children, ask your pharmacist or doctor for advice.
- In the presence of clinical signs of local infection (heat, redness extending to undamaged skin, pain, purulent secretion, swelling, etc.), consult your pharmacist or doctor.
- Ask your pharmacist or doctor for advice before applying the dressing to the face, for aesthetic reasons.
- People with diabetes should only use hydrocolloid dressings under medical or nursing supervision.
- Paraffin can be absorbed by dressings, clothing and/or bedding and ignite very quickly. Anyone using or applying a medical device for dermatological use containing paraffin must stay away from fire until the skin and/or clothing and bedding that have been in contact with it are properly cleaned.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
- Do not use in case of deep 2nd degree or 3rd degree burns. In these cases, a medical consultation is mandatory.
- Do not apply on mucous membranes.
- Do not use to cover or fix/hold a device.
- Contraindicated for arteritic foot.
- Contraindicated for infected diabetic foot.
- Do not use for more than 30 days
consecutive.
