In all cases, clean the wound with an alcohol-free antiseptic. Rinse with water or Urgo saline solution.
In the case of a burn, never use colored antiseptics of the eosin type. Dry carefully with a sterile compress. As far as possible, respect the blister which is a bulwark against infection. If it gets punctured, disinfect it. There is no point in removing dead skin if it does not go away on its own. Remove the protective fins. Apply to the area to be treated. The use of a cream beforehand is useless. The usual duration of treatment is 5 to 6 days with renewal of the 1st dressing after 24 hours, then every 48 hours.
Reserved for the treatment of localized wounds, the size of which does not exceed the format of a compress. On extensive burns, it is desirable that the compress overflows widely to allow the absorption of exudates. If you do not see any improvement in healing after 6 days, consult your doctor.
For any burns in children, ask your pharmacist for advice.
In the presence of clinical signs of local infection (redness extending to undamaged skin, pain), consult your pharmacist or doctor.
Urgo dressings for burns and superficial wounds must be used as soon as the sachet is opened, stored away from heat, light and humidity.
Do not use in case of deep 2nd degree burns, 3rd degree burns, or facial burns.
In these cases, a prior medical consultation is mandatory.
The reuse of a single-use product can cause risks of infection.
