Voltarenactigo 2% intense anti-inflammatory gel 30 g tube:

Pharmacotherapeutic class

Diclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug, derived from phenylacetic acid from the group of arylcarboxylic acids.

In gel form, it has local anti-inflammatory and analgesic activity.

Therapeutic indications

This medication is indicated as a short-term local treatment, in adults and adolescents from the age of 15, in the event of mild trauma, sprains (strain), contusion.

Dosage

1 application, 2 times a day (preferably morning and evening) on the painful area.

Method and route of administration

Local way.

EXTERNAL USE

Penetrate the gel with a gentle, prolonged massage on the painful or inflamed area.

Wash hands thoroughly after each use.

Duration of treatment

The duration of treatment is limited to 4 days.

The active substance is:

diethylamine diclofenac: 2.32g

Quantity corresponding to diclofenac sodium: 2.00 g

For 100 g of gel.

The other components are:

Butylydroxytoluene, carbomers, ester of caprylic and capric acids with fatty alcohol from C12 to C18, diethylamine, isopropyl alcohol, liquid paraffin, macrogol cetostearyl ether, oleyl alcohol, propylene glycol, eucalyptus fragrance, purified water.

Never use VOLTARENACTIGO 2% INTENSE, gel in the following cases:

· from the 25th week of amenorrhea (beginning of the 6th month of pregnancy).

· in case of allergy to this medicine or to a related medicine, in particular other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, aspirin;

· in case of allergy to any of the excipients;

· on damaged skin, whatever the lesion: oozing lesion, eczema, infected lesion, burn or wound.

in children under 15 years old.
