If there is no improvement in your condition or if it worsens after 3 days of treatment, you should consult your doctor.
Adults:
The recommended dose for adults is 1 tablet of Ipraféine of 400 mg of ibuprofen and 100 mg of caffeine, to be renewed if necessary every 6 hours, without ever exceeding 1200 mg of ibuprofen and 300 mg of caffeine over 24 hours (1 to 3 tablets per day). Treatment with Ipraféine should not exceed 3 days.
Oral route. Swallow the tablets whole with a glass of water. Iprafeine is contraindicated in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
Several situations contraindicate the use of the drug Ipraféine:
- From the 6th month of pregnancy.
- In case of allergy to ibuprofen and caffeine or to any of the other constituents of this medicine.
- In case of a history of asthma, difficulty breathing, edema, hives after having already taken acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs.
- If you have a history of stomach ulcers or bleeding, any other bleeding and blood disorders.
- In the event of a history of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation linked to previous treatment with NSAIDs.
- Severe liver, kidney or heart failure.
- In case of severe dehydration
Iprafeine should not be used in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
