• Do not stretch the dressing when applying; do not cut
• Single-use dressing, do not reposition the dressing once applied and do not reuse the same dressing (risk of infection).
• In the event of sticky residues of hydrocolloids on the skin, soaking in water is recommended: the adhesive will swell, lose its adhesiveness and come off.
• Do not apply a dressing or remove the dressing already applied and consult a doctor:
- in the event of worsening of the wound or absence of improvement within 6 days of treatment,
- if there are signs of infection (redness, pain, warmth, swelling around the
wound, pus, etc.)
- In case of foreign bodies in the wound, heavy bleeding, bite, puncture with a sharp and/or dirty object
- or in case of doubt or inconvenience.
• Diabetic patients are recommended to use hydrocolloid dressings only under medical or nursing supervision.
• For any wound on the face, it is recommended for aesthetic reasons to seek medical advice.
• Do not use these dressings for more than 30 consecutive days.
• Store dressings in their original box.
• Do not use after the expiry date (indicated on the box and the sachet)
CONTRAINDICATION
Contraindicated on infected wounds, burns, on wounds at risk of secondary infection (especially wounds dating back more than 24 hours).
Contraindicated for arteritic foot.
Contraindicated for infected diabetic foot.
